I hear the Lord saying, “It’s time to move forward.” Many of us have been in a protracted wilderness season. Due to the length and severity of the battle, we have come through the other side in a stupor. We have emerged not the same person but also not quite in the fullness of who we are meant to be in the next season. It is in this transitional period where we have two choices: stay stuck where we are or start moving forward again.
In this place, I hear the Lord encouraging me that I am truly entering into a new season, a better season. For the first time in a long time, I feel hope rising up in me. I dare to dream again. I dare to believe again. I dare to trust again. And I dare to take those first steps that start moving me forward again.
“Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain” 1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV).
