I would not have selected the path the Lord has chosen to take me on for the last several years. It has been painful, difficult, longer, and more challenging than I would have liked. The Lord’s path has also made absolutely no sense to me.
But, the path He chose has brought about the most significant and profound changes in my life. I am a completely different and better person. There is a place of such depth and breadth in the Lord that I would not have experienced any other way.
And even though this is not the path I would have chosen, I wouldn’t change a thing. I wouldn’t want to do anything to alter the course that helped shape me into the person I have become. Sometimes, the greatest blessings are found along a path we wouldn’t choose for ourselves.
